April's love for animals started at a young age and has carried through her entire life.

 

In early 2019, she decided that she was tired of giving her family's three crazy-loved canines Federal, Bella and Winston (and kitty, Vegas!) store bought treats and it was time to give them something that was better quality. Treats made with love, from her heart to their's. It was in her kitchen she began to whip up all natural yummies made with peanut butter and whole wheat, and expanded from there as she became more adventurous.

It wasn't long before friends and family were asking how they could get some of these homemade treats for their pets. It was then that Doggie Bark Box, LLC was born. Although she did keep a storefront for a short time, April has found success with her treats being picked up by other local stores and decided to make the switch to strictly online, personal sales.

When not busy in the kitchen with furry friends at her feet or out making deliveries to her customers, she can be found enjoying the company of her husband, her quickly growing son...and of course out on the open road basking in the Jeep life!
